01Overview

A review platform for a discretionary manager: one set of numbers behind the advisor, the client pack and the compliance file.

02The problem

Every quarterly review was assembled by hand in slides, from three systems that disagreed. Advisors arrived at meetings with figures they could not source, and suitability evidence was reconstructed afterwards for the file.

Thirty-eight quarterly reviews on one screen, each carrying its drift and its evidence
03What we built
  1. 01

    One number, three audiences

Positions, performance and mandate compliance are computed once, then rendered into the advisor's view, the client's pack and the audit record from the same source.

  2. 02

Mandate as a rule, not a memo

Each mandate's constraints run as daily checks, so drift is raised while it is still small enough to be a decision rather than an incident.

  3. 03

    Evidence written as it happens

Every recommendation records the objective, the data used and the alternatives considered at the moment it is made.

Equities caught at 66.4% against a 65% ceiling, while it is still a decision
The same figures turned towards the client in the room, with no deck to assemble
04The result

Review preparation fell from two days per client to under an hour, and the suitability file is now a by-product of doing the work rather than a separate job.

Do you have an idea, or a problem?

Either works. In my experience the second one goes faster.
