Foundations
A cash and payments workspace for mid-sized companies: every account in one position, approvals by policy, and currency locked before money moves.
1.1Purpose
The H of a ledger, crossbar set high as in a classical capital, beside a serif that reads like a signature. Treasury software that looks like it belongs in a boardroom.
1.2Audience
Who it is for
Group treasurers and finance controllers moving money across entities and banks.
Positioning
For finance teams with more than one bank. Unlike bank portals, Halden shows one cash position and a single approval trail.
1.3Principles
- P1
One cash position
Balances from every bank and currency roll up into a single figure, with the split by currency beside it.
- P2
Approvals by rule
Payments over a threshold need two approvers. The rule is visible on the payment, so nobody has to ask why it is waiting.
- P3
FX at the moment of approval
The rate is locked while the approver signs, and the batch records which rate was used.
Voice
How Halden sounds in product, support and marketing. One voice; the tone moves with the moment, not the channel.
2.1Traits
Composed
The tone of a good private bank: measured, never casual, never cold.
Precise
Amounts in full with currency. Rounded figures only in charts, and labelled as such.
Auditable
Every action is described the way it will appear in the audit log.
2.2Say this, not that
- Say
